Protect Serve Love at First Sight Book 3 eBook Mia Madison Reviews
This story is about Ava and Trent. Ava is “suffering” because her father (a lawyer) has drawn some unwanted attention from some very bad men. Her “suffering” is in the form of a hot, alpha, older man bodyguard. Ava has grown up protected and dealing with a toxic and alcoholic mother who no one is good enough for. Ava has started to take on these personality traits and has a difficult time spreading her wings from her parents. Trent is crass and rude but takes his job seriously and has found himself falling for Ava. This story had a great amount of romance and a little action. It is well written and envelopes the reader into the characters world. This is a great story for any reader who loves, bodyguard romance, older man younger woman romance, or just good old fashioned sweet romance. The character of Ava grows during this story from a slightly immature girl to a woman who knows what she wants and stands up for both herself and for Trent. I really enjoyed the arc of the characters over the course of the story. It was predictable, yet completely entertaining at the same time. My favorite line is “Don’t go. Stay with me. Make me yours….You already are.”
The story is 15 chapters (with chapter 15 being the epilogue) and is written in first person narration. It is part of the Love at First Sight collection, but can be read as a standalone. It is in the same world as Touch & Taste and Work & Play. There are shared characters and a shared world. The characters of Layla and Charlie were introduced in other stories and have been a great addition to this one. This story slightly aligns and interweaves the story from Work & Play. I would love an extended epilogue, maybe a few years into the future to really see how Ava and Trent’s lives turned out. Another great Mia Madison story. I received an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
Another hot, quick read from Mia Madison. I love her books! I’m a sucker for an older man/younger woman romance and she has written so many that are creative, unique and always super sexy. They’re always well-written, light hearted and steamy with a happy ending. If I need a quick read to improve my day, I’ll grab one of Mia Madison’s books almost every time!
When Ava’s father convicts a dangerous criminal, he begins to receive threats against himself and his family. He immediately hires more security and Ava is assigned a full time bodyguard – Trent.
Trent is twice Ava’s age and everything that Ava’s snobby mother despises in a man. Working class, crude, uncouth etc… Not that Ava’s mother is a real prize either. She and Ava’s father seem completely miserable and poor Ava is stuck listening to never-ending screaming matches between her parents.
Quiet, brooding and impatient, Trent follows Ava everywhere. He’s a wall of muscle, gorgeous and willing to take a bullet for her, but he’s also got a sweet side that Ava discovers, once she stops being such a witch to him. He’s just doing his job and it’s definitely cramping Ava’s lifestyle, but it’s for her safety and she reluctantly accepts him as a constant fixture in her life.
Ava’s extremely attracted to Trent and she suspects that it’s reciprocated, but he’s a professional and keeps his distance. Ava’s not willing to give up though. She takes advantage of Trent having to keep her in sight, by teasing and tormenting him, until she finally makes the first move.
Their relationship is forbidden for many reasons, least of all her very disapproving parents, but for now they are happy to sneak around and steal moments together. But what happens when their secret comes out? Who will keep Ava safe if her parents dismiss Trent? Do they have any hope of happiness, while she’s still under her parents’ roof?
Sexy, steamy, forbidden romance with a HEA and a sweet epilogue.
No cheating. No cliffhanger.

Mia has become one of my all time favorite authors. The devout personalities that she can bring out & evoke in her characters is one of the things that draws me to her books, not to mention the SEX ON A STICK, HOT AS SIN, BAD BOYS SHE WRITES ABOUT. I absolutely loved the book! Read it straight through from cover to cover couldn't put it down! Ava's father has inadvertently put his family into danger by winning a extremely dangerous case. He has had to hire protection for his family & means to make sure they stay safe at all costs despite the constant belittling, nagging & bickering that comes from his wife. His beautiful daughter Ava finds out by literally running into her Hot & Sexy bodyguard Trent. Even through the banter & gibes towards each other Ava finds herself drawn to Trent as the weeks turn into months of being around him & getting to know him they find themselves in love. When Ava's dad catches them he fires Trent & even though Ava begs him to ler Trent remain her bodyguard, gives her a new one. Ava begins to act out against her father's wishes & attempts to keep his "sweet pea" safe no matter the what. She finds her bodyguard asleep outside her room one afternoon & slips put of the house to her car where she drives like hell to get away to think & figure out her next move. She drives herself to a secluded place Trent had shown her only to realize how foolish she has been as someone is driving up the road behind her & she's afraid that whoever it is, more than likely are the men her father has been protecting her from in the vehivle. What happens next? MUST GET THE BOOK & FIND OUT! I voluntarily read this ARC and this is my review
Oh my, loved Trent and Ava's sexy as hell love story. Love this series and Mia's books. On to book 4
