Of the 17 stories, I enjoyed some of them very much (Jukebox Gifts, My Favorite Christmas, and Nutball Season). Santa Claus is Coming to Get You, and LaZelle Family Christmas were also very good. One Last Gift was well written and unique, but I did not like what had happened, and the crash investigator's joy was very cold hearted. Two stories I did not finish, Dead Snow and Cold Comfort. The remaining stories were okay, but nothing special. Below is a brief idea of what each story is about.'A Christmas Caroler' a bit long however it was good. A young girl pays her brother a ghostly visit.
'Jukebox Gifts' a man unselfishly gives his best friends the gift of a second chance, even knowing he may never see them again. My only complaint with the story is not knowing what happened to Carl, Fred, and Jess.
'Santa Claus Is Coming to Get You' what if you believed Santa only comes if you've been bad?
'Foreign Exchange' over the holidays a couple hosts an obnoxious, rude student from another planet
'The Weryan' an experimental crop of yams makes a man understand what it is like to be a yam.
'Nutball Season' a woman threatens to shoot Santa if he comes to her house on Christmas Eve.
'These Halls' not certain if this was or was not a ghost story, either way it's sad, because we often overlook or choose not to see the people who clean our offices every day.
'My Favorite Christmas' a family member comes a long way to relieve his favorite Christmas, to say anything else would spoil the story.
'One Last Gift' story about a horrendous airplane crash with an unexpected benefit
'Popcorn for Christmas' a policeman meets a woman at a Christmas party held in the morgue who tells him the one thing she would like is some popcorn, homemade popcorn.
'Christopher's Crummy Christmas' Santa's son decides to sabotage his father's annual Christmas flight
'Dead Snow' a college professor tries to make his way home in the snow
'Inquiring Minds Want to Snow' a reporter goes to the North Pole to get a story
'The Jolly Old Boyfriend' a guy goes to great lengths to win his ex-girlfriend back
'Cold Comfort' a call is made to report a murder. Is the caller a freezer or a woman, and is the one receiving the call a computer program or a person?
'LaZelle Family Christmas' each of the LaZelle family children use their own special talent to make the family Christmas special, getting the tree, creating a Christmas song, making a special decoration, and baking Christmas cookies. This story I've seen in other Christmas anthologies.
'The Ghost of Christmas Always' Charles Dickens is visited by the ghost of his young sister in law Mary Hogarth, who shows him his past, present and future.

I’m a confirmed bookaholic who really enjoys anthologies
I liked the book and the stories were fun to read
An anthology filled with delightfully written Christmas stories. Kim Antieau, one of my favored writers, is a contributor to this book, so I bought it because I so enjoy her stories. Each tale is uniquely crafted to please and match the season. Kim's story was why I bought the anthology, but the other stories were an added treat. Happy Holiday reading!
